1 Corinthians 13

Love is more than feeling, it requires much discipline and hard works to develop and to perfect. However, it’s all worth it for this is the “most excellent way.” 

Read 1 Corinthians 13. Which part of 1 Corinthians 13 inspired you the most?

1. The Superiority of Love: After listing the various spiritual gifts, Paul explained that “love” is the “most excellent way” over other spiritual gifts. In your experience, do you find it true? How so?

2. The Qualities of Love: Out of all the qualities that Paul listed, whether positive or negative, which are your strengths and which are your weaknesses? List down practical ways that you could improve on your weak areas.

3. The Permanence of Love: Gifts will cease but love never fails. We often spend much time in developing our spiritual gifts or natural talents (e.g. musical, artistic, and athletic talents, etc.). List ways that you could develop or practice the gift of love with people close to you.
