1 Corinthians 2
Don't worry about your incompetence, Jesus has your back!
Read 1 Corinthians 2. Which part of 1 Corinthians 2 inspires you the most?
-
Paul’s Attitude: Though an apostle, Paul went to Corinth with a humble attitude and relied not on human wisdom (i.e. wise and persuasive words), but focused on Christ’s crucifixion and God’s power alone. It’s okay to feel incompetent, as long as we resolve to rely on God’s power. List down area(s) in your life that you feel weak or fearful, pray and cast all your cares upon Him and rely on His power.
-
God’s Wisdom: God’s wisdom is beyond comprehension (“...No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived...” 2:9), and yet, God made it known to us through the Spirit. May we "have the mind of Christ" and look at life from our Lord’s perspective, and have His values and desires in mind. List down some of the worldly perspectives that you possess, and reflect on how they differ from “the mind of Christ.”

Meditation and Application:
Meditate on the above questions along with the necessary actions. Commit all your cares and worldly perspectives to God, and start looking at things from a spiritual perspective through the mind of Christ.
