1 Timothy 1
Don’t slack off, fight the good fight!
Read 1 Timothy 1. Which part of 1 Timothy 1 inspires you the most?
  1. Warning Against False Teachers: Paul reminded Timothy to command certain men not to teach false doctrines (vv.3-4). Likewise, we too need to know the truth and to be aware of false doctrines. Set up a regular time to do your daily devotion and Bible reading; if possible, also try to choose a spiritual book to read in the coming month.

  2. Paul’s Experience of Grace: Paul considered himself to be the worst of sinners, and yet Jesus had displayed His unlimited patience upon him. Recall how your first came to know Christ, and list out incidents how Jesus has displayed His patience upon you. Thank God for His mercy and patience.

  3. Paul’s Charge to Timothy: Paul gave Timothy instructions to follow so that he could fight a good fight. What could you do in order to fight a good fight for the Lord? List a few things that you need to work on so that you could be a good solider for Christ.

  4. Your own insight: (fill in yourself)
