Acts 27
Let God turn your storms into opportunities to experience Him and to impact life.
Read Acts 27 (Paul's Journey to Rome — Through the Storm and Shipwreck). Which part of Acts 27 inspires you the most?
-
God’s Sovereign Protection over Paul: Not only did God protect Paul from the Jews, and now from the storm, from shipwreck, but also from the swords of the soldiers (27:42). As Paul was assured by God in the midst of a life-threatening storm not to be afraid, we too should take courage believing that God will be with us even through the valley of the shadow of death (Ps. 23:4).
-
God Elevated Paul from a Prisoner to a Leader: Even in the most adverse situation as a prisoner, God used Paul to bring comforts and guidance to a whole shipload of people, even to his captors. As James 4:10 says, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” Be prepared to be used by God in any and every situation.

Meditation and Application:
What is the storm that you’re facing right now? Close your eyes, take some time to give all your concerns to God, one by one. Listen to God telling you, “Do not be afraid! I have a purpose in your life!”
