Acts 28
The road is long, the burden is heavy, but the mission is clear and the reward is great!
Read Acts 28 (Paul's Journey to Rome - Malta & Rome). Which part of Acts 28 inspires you the most?
  1. Paul at Malta: Paul demonstrated the presence and the power of God in his encounter with the viper and his miraculous healing of the sick (vv.1-10). Wherever Paul went, he became a blessing to the people there. In what way that God could use you to bless the people around you?

  2. Paul with the Jews: Even under guard, Paul shared the gospel from morning till evening (28:23). For two years, “boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ” (28:31). Paul never wavered from his call to be a minister of the gospel. What does God call you to do for His kingdom?

  3. Paul’s Final Statement: Paul quoted Isaiah 6:9-10 regarding the Jew’s rejection of the gospel. How sad that the Jews were so close, and yet so far from actualizing the truth. Hearing is not equivalent to understanding, and seeing is not equivalent to perceiving (vv.26-27). Have you ever fallen into such trap of superficial encounter with the truth? Please explain.

  4. Your own insight: (fill in yourself)

Meditation and Application:

Meditate on how God has paved your path, with all its ups and downs, to steer you towards the direction that He wants you to go. Thank God for his guidance and pray for His sustaining power as you face the challenges ahead.
