Galatians 2
Have no fear of men, let Christ live in you and stand up for the truth!
Read through Galatians 2. Which part of Galatians 2 inspires you the most?
-
Fear of Men: Even great Christian leaders like Peter or Barnabas, at times would fear and yield to the pressure of others; thus, Peter, Barnabas, and the other Jews responded in hypocrisy and withdrew from eating with the Gentiles before the Judaizers. In what situations have you yielded under pressure? In hindsight, what could you have done to avoid such pitfall?
-
Stand up for the Truth: Paul confronted Peter, Barnabas and the other Jews when he saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel. Have you ever stood up for the truth? Why or why not?
-
Crucified with Christ: Paul asserted, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (2:10) In what way(s) have you been crucified with Christ? Are there any things that would hinder you from doing that?

Meditation and Application:
Meditate on the above questions along with the necessary actions. Reflect upon what in your life that you would like to be crucified with Christ, including the fear of men. Picture in your mind that all these are being crucified on the cross; pray and ask Christ to live in you.
