Galatians 3
The law helps us understand our inadequacy; thus, we will turn to Christ for His redemption.
Read through Galatians 3. Which part of Galatians 3 inspires you the most?
Paul defended the doctrine of “Justification by Faith” by (a) the experience of the Galatians (vv.1-5); (b) the example of Abraham (vv.6-9); (c) the limitation of the law (vv.10-12); (d) our redemption from the curse of the law through Christ (vv.13-14); (e) the permanence of the Promise (vv.15-18); (f) the purpose of the law (vv.19-25); and (g) the believer’s present position as the sons of God, being one in Christ, and as Abraham’s seed (vv.26-29).

The Righteous will Live by Faith: The law has put us under a curse (v.10), but through faith in Jesus Christ that we are redeemed and justified (vv.13-14). Thank God for the provision of salvation through Jesus Christ.

The Permanence of God’s Promise: Even human covenant could not be set aside (v.15), how much more will God’s promises sustain. List some of God’s promises that have special meaning to you at this moment, cling onto these promises and make them your prayer in this coming week.
-
We are One in Christ: Galatians 3:28 says, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” In Christ, there should not be any division or discrimination. Examine your relationship with other brothers and sisters, and see in what ways that you could live out this truth of oneness in Christ.
