Hebrews 2
Made lower than angels, crowned with glory and honor...Put your trust in Him, our Big Brother!
Read through Hebrews 2. Which part of Hebrews 2 inspires you the most?
  1. Warning to Pay Attention: The author warned the reader that in order not to drift away in their faith, they had to pay more careful attention to what they had heard and not to ignore God’s salvation. Examine your spiritual life, have you been drifting away in your walk with God? Think of ways that you could “pay more careful attention” to His Word.

  2. He Calls Us Brothers/Sisters: How honorable it is that Jesus suffered death for us and calls us brothers and sisters. Take some time to thank the Lord for His sacrifice, through which we could regain our holiness (v.11) and glory as His creation (v.10).

  3. He Delivers Us: Through His death, Jesus frees us from our fear of death and is able to help us when we are tempted. List the temptations that you are now facing, lay them before the Lord and ask Him to empower you to face these temptations.

  4. Your own insight: (fill in yourself)

Meditation and Application:

Meditate on the above questions along with the necessary actions. Thank the Lord for His salvation (v.3) and pray for His empowerment as you face various temptations in life.
