James 5
In all circumstances, be patient and keep praying!
Which part of James 5 inspires you the most?
  1. Beware of Wealth: Wealth is only temporary and corrodible. Evaluate your philosophy towards money, especially in light of the approaching of “the last days.” List at least one area that you could improve on regarding spending money (i.e. be more generous, be more giving, carry no debt, control your spending, live a simple life, etc.).

  2. Be Patient in Suffering: We are to be patient and stand firm because the Lord’s coming is near. Are you encountering any trials or sufferings? How does the coming of the Lord help you endure and stand firm?

  3. The Importance of Prayer: Prayer is the weapon when we encounter troubles, sickness, and sins. Evaluate your prayer life. How much time do you spend in prayer each day? Do you keep a prayer list or a prayer journal? Think of ways that you could improve your prayer life.

  4. Your own insight: (fill in yourself)

Meditation and Application:

Meditate on the above questions along with the necessary actions. Focus of improving your prayer life.
