Revelation 16
Don’t take God’s patience for granted. Be alert, be sensitive to God’s warning, and repent!
Read Revelation 16. Which part of Revelation 16 inspired you the most?
NOTE: See the below chart for the similarities between the plagues of the 7 bowls and the 7 trumpet.
-
The 7 Bowls: What do the similarities and differences of the two sets of plagues signify (compare the severity and the extent of the 7 bowls with the 7 trumpets)?
-
Christ’s return: Christ’s returned is compared to the unexpected and sudden coming of a thief, and believers during the tribulation are called to stay awake and keep their garments on (i.e. holiness and righteousness). In what ways that you could stay awake spiritually? What do you have to do to keep your garments on?
-
People’s unrepentance: Even under God’s severe judgments (note the progression of severity and extent of the plagues in question [1] above), people are still unrepentant and curse God. We need to be aware of God’s disciplinary acts and repent. What are some of the recurring or habitual sins that you’ve been committing? Confess before God and turn away from them.

Meditation and Application:
Meditate on the above questions along with the necessary actions. Confess your sins and thank God for His forgiveness.
