1. Christ’s Coming: Jesus is Coming Soon. Jesus’ proclamation of “I am coming soon” occurs three times in this passage (vv. 7, 12, 20). If Jesus is coming back today, are you prepared to meet Him? Why or why not? How could you make yourself more ready?

2. God’s Words: God’s words are said to be trustworthy and true (v.6), and people are to keeps the words of the prophecy in John’s Revelation (vv. 7, 9) and not to tamper with its content (vv. 10, 18-19). Think of ways that you could live out such a high regard for God’s words in your daily living (e.g. in the areas of reading, meditating, memorizing, applying, etc.)? Be specific.

3. Our Worship: The call to worship the one and only true God is prominent in the Book of Revelation. And even towards the end of the book, John was being reminded again to “Worship God” (22:9). Worship is more than just attending worship services, but to honor and please God in our daily living — It is a lifestyle. Examine your life and see in what ways that you could improve your “life-worship.”
