Revelation 7
God will never forget His promises and will reward those who are faithful to the end. Hold onto His words and stand firm!
Read Revelation 7. Which part of Revelation 7 inspires you the most?
  1. God Will Protect His People (vv.1-8): God will not forget His promise to Abraham, and 144,000 Jews will be protected during the tribulation. Let us remember that God cannot deny Himself, and we should trust in His words and His promises. List some of the things that may cause you to doubt about His words or His promises (e.g. difficulties, the philosophy of the world, peer pressure, etc.)? What could you do to overcome these doubts? Commit these doubts to the Lord and ask Him to empower you to trust Him.

  2. God Will Reward His People (vv.9-17): Innumerable martyrs from all nations will be given the special privilege to stay “before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in his temple” (v.15). They will be protected against hunger, thirst, and scorching heat (v.16) and be shepherded by the lamb, who “will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes" (v.17). Though these Christians from all nations will go through sufferings and will eventually sacrifice their lives, God will comfort them and reward them eventually. What are some of the sufferings that you experience as a Christian now? Commit them to the Lord and trust in His goodness, that one day He will wipe away your tears and reward you.
