Romans 14
In a world of put downs, let’s build one another up!
Read Romans 14. Which part of Romans 14 inspires you the most?
  1. Accept One Another: We are not to judge one another but to accept those whose faith is weak. Do you find it difficult to accept those who are different from you? Try to list out some of the reasons for such tensions. What could you do about it?

  2. Edify One Another: We are not to cause anyone to stumble but to “make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification” (14:19). Is there anything that you do which may cause someone to stumble? What could you do in the coming weeks to edify others?

  3. Belong to the Lord: “If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord” (14:8). How then do you consider yourself as “belong to the Lord”? How would that affect your relationship with others?

  4. Your own insight: (fill in yourself)

Meditation and Application:

Meditate on the above questions along with the necessary actions. Evaluate your relationship with others, and focus on how you could accept and edify others in the coming weeks.
