Romans 15
We are members of the body of Christ, we need one another.
Read Romans 15. Which part of Romans 15 inspires you the most?

The “One Anothers”: “...live in such harmony with one another” (ESV 15:5), “accept one another” (15:7), and “instruct one another” (15:14)...Christians are to be imitators of our Lord, Jesus Christ, to “bear with the failings of the weak” (15:1), to accept one another, and to build one another up (15:2, cf. 14:19). Do you have these kinds of “one another” relationships with other brothers and sisters? Think of at least one other person (of the same sex) with whom you could build a more intimate relationship to keep each other accountable, and to uplift each other. Arrange a consistent time (e.g. once a month) that you could meet and support each other through sharing and prayer.
-
Paul’s Conviction of Sharing the Gospel: Paul has determined “to preach the gospel where Christ was not known” (15:20), do you have a plan of sharing the gospel? Pray and ask God for such opportunities, as well as wisdom and courage to share the good news.
-
Paul’s Plan to Visit Rome: Though Paul has his plan to visit Rome on his way to Spain, as we may know that Paul got to Rome not when or in the manner that he anticipated (i.e. as a prisoner, Acts 27-28)! Did Paul’s plan fail? No, just that God has another way to make that happen. We should give our plans to God and let Him accomplish His will according to His own blueprint and timing. What plans do you have now? Commit your plans to the Lord and submit to His sovereign will.
