Dead to Sin and Alive in Christ: Stop taking God’s grace and forgiveness for granted; instead consider yourself dead to sin and to your old self, but alive to God to live a new life of righteousness. In your journal (or on a piece of paper), jot down some areas to which you need to die, and some areas in which you need to live for God. List down practical steps how you could achieve your goals.

Stop Slaving under Sin and Serve God: Reflect upon how you were like a slave serving sin, in what ways you have lost your freedom? Since God has already freed you from sin (6:18), commit to serve God as your only master. Observe the irony in 6:22 and see how being a slave could gain you freedom. What are some practical steps that you could take to stop slaving under sin and start serving God?
